TOGO, UGANDA AND KENYA

Our Riverkeeper partners in these countries are amazing. We are currently partnering with the Yoto River Waterkeeper in Togo, the Lake Kyogo Waterkeeper in Uganda, the Kenyan Lake Victoria Waterkeeper in Kenya and the Ugandan Lake Victoria Waterkeeper in Uganda. Most of our work is in very rural areas of these countries.

These Waterkeepers live in these communities and have firsthand knowledge of the problems facing their neighbors and waterways, as well as the on-the-ground knowledge to implement well construction and water testing. The projects we fund are 100% guided and implemented by the Riverkeepers in these countries, because the Riverkeepers know the problems and solutions better than anyone else. 

We hope to expand our work to partner with additional Waterkeepers in other areas of Africa.
